The Minnesota School Bus Operators Association represents Minnesota’s privately owned school bus contractors. We provide over 60% of the school buses used to transport Minnesota children to and from school and school related activities. Our members represent an average of over 45 years experience in the industry and are responsible for over 400,000 students transported 233,000 miles per day.
The National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation Services was established in 1968. The membership represents all 50 states. The purpose of the association is to provide leadership, assistance and motivation to the Nation’s school transportation community with the goal of providing safe, secure, efficient, economical, and high-quality transportation to school children on their trips to and from school and school-related activities.
School buses are one of the safest forms of transportation in the United States. Every year, approximately 450,000 public school buses transport 23.5 million children to and from school and school-related activities.
